Members of the FFCF attended speaker bureau training for the American Cancer Society on Saturday, March 13, 2010 in White Marsh, Maryland. The ACS offered a day of organization familiarization, resource information, event participation options, and cancer specific presentations for public education.

There was extensive discussion regarding the superior charitable rating for ACS business practices. Provision of program funding examples demonstrated how national fundraising impacts local and regional assistance for individuals.

One FFCF member excitedly committed to training for the Reach for Recovery breast cancer event scheduled for October 2010 in Baltimore,  Maryland. The FFCF cheerleaders are ready!
